Iris and the Vacuum Mechanic
Who Wouldn’t Put Down His Coffee

🦉☕ Featuring Saul the Owl

✨ Sometimes the best mechanic is the one you didn’t know was hiding inside you. ✨

It started with a sound.

A very bad sound.

CRACK… CRACK… CRACK…

Iris looked down at her magical vacuum.

“Please don’t do this to me.”

CRACK… CRACK… CRACK…

The vacuum shook.
It coughed.
It sputtered.

And suddenly…

it slowed down.

Way down.

🧹💨

Rick the Pig was flying beside her on a tiny enchanted seat. He looked over nervously.

🐷 “Iris… are we still flying?”

“Technically.”

Ramón the Mouse pulled out his notebook.

🐭📓 “Current speed: concerning.”

The Crazy Hen flew past them.

🐔💨 “I’M FASTER THAN THE VACUUM!!!”

Then she crashed into a bush.

POOF!

The cow looked over the side.

🐄 “Moo.”

Iris narrowed her eyes.

“I know.”

Something was definitely wrong.

🌅 The Next Morning…

Iris woke up before sunrise.

She loaded the entire Flying Crew onto the vacuum.

Rick brought a comb.

Ramón brought his notebook.

Crazy Hen brought a helmet.

Nobody knew why.

And the cow…

brought breakfast.

🐄🌾

They slowly flew across the forest.

CRACK… CRACK… CRACK…

Over the lake.

CRACK… CRACK…

Past the mountains.

CRACK…

Until finally they reached the most famous magical vacuum repair shop in the entire forest.

🦉🔧 SAUL’S MAGICAL VACUUM REPAIR

If It Flies, Saul Can Fix It.

Eventually.

The shop opened at 7:30 a.m.

At exactly 7:30…

Iris was already standing at the front desk.

Rick stood behind her fixing his hair.

Ramón had his notebook ready.

Crazy Hen was touching things she absolutely should not have been touching.

And the cow was staring at a vending machine.

Behind the counter stood the legendary vacuum mechanic himself:

🦉 Saul the Owl ☕

Mechanic’s overalls.
Wrench in his pocket.
Glasses sitting low on his beak.

And in his wing…

a gigantic cup of coffee.

☕🦉

Iris smiled politely.

“Good morning, Saul.”

Saul lifted his coffee.

Sluuuuuuurp.

“Morning.”

Iris pointed outside.

“My vacuum is making a terrible crack-crack-crack sound. It doesn’t have any power and it barely flies anymore. Could you please take a quick look?”

Saul looked through the window.

He looked at the vacuum.

Then he looked at Iris.

Then…

Sluuuuuuurp.

“You’ll have to leave it.”

Iris blinked.

“Leave it?”

“Yep.”

“For how long?”

Saul thought carefully.

Another sip.

“Two weeks.”

Silence.

Even Crazy Hen stopped touching things.

Iris leaned forward.

“I’m sorry… TWO WEEKS?!”

Saul nodded.

“Two weeks.”

Rick whispered to Ramón:

🐷 “She’s about to explode.”

Ramón started writing.

🐭📓 “Possible explosion imminent.”

Iris took a deep breath.

“Saul… listen.”

She lowered her voice.

“I’ll give you a one-hundred-dollar tip.

Saul stopped drinking.

👀

Rick stopped fixing his hair.

Ramón stopped writing.

Crazy Hen gasped.

🐔 “ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS?!”

The cow stopped chewing.

🐄 “Moo?”

Iris continued.

“One hundred dollars. Just take a look at it right now. You don’t even have to repair it. Tell me what’s wrong, and I’ll take care of the rest.”

Saul looked at Iris.

Then at the vacuum.

Then at the hundred dollars.

Then…

he raised his coffee.

Sluuuuuuuuuuurp.

“Nope.”

Iris couldn’t believe it.

“Saul.”

“Two weeks.”

“ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS.”

“Two weeks.”

“Just LOOK AT IT!”

“Two weeks.”

Iris stared at Saul.

Saul stared at Iris.

Rick stared at Iris.

Ramón stared at Saul.

Crazy Hen stared at the hundred dollars.

And the cow…

stared at the coffee.

🐄☕

Finally Iris slowly picked up her vacuum.

“Have a wonderful day, Saul.”

Saul raised his cup.

“You too.”

Sluuuuuuurp.

🔧 Plan B

Outside, nobody spoke.

They climbed aboard.

CRACK… CRACK… CRACK…

Finally Rick broke the silence.

🐷 “Well… that went beautifully.”

Iris looked at him.

Rick immediately began fixing his hair.

Ramón opened his notebook.

🐭📓 “Professional diagnosis: inconclusive.”

Iris shook her head.

“No, Ramón. I know exactly what the diagnosis was.”

Ramón prepared his pencil.

“What?”

Iris looked back toward the shop.

☕ “Coffee.”

Ramón slowly wrote:

🐭📓 DIAGNOSIS: COFFEE.

The Crazy Hen screamed:

🐔 “WE NEED A SECOND OPINION!”

Iris smiled.

“No.”

She turned the vacuum toward the magical parts store.

“We need spark plugs.

✨ Two Spark Plugs Later…

Iris bought two brand-new spark plugs and flew everyone home.

Very…

very…

slowly.

CRACK… CRACK… CRACK…

Once they reached the cave, Iris rolled up her sleeves.

She grabbed her tools.

Rick watched suspiciously.

🐷 “You know how to do this?”

Iris looked at him.

“Rick.”

“Yes?”

“Go fix your hair.”

Rick touched his head.

🐷 “Excellent idea.”

Ramón climbed onto a little rock to observe.

🐭📓 “Beginning repair procedure.”

Crazy Hen appeared wearing safety goggles, gloves, a helmet and somehow…

a life jacket.

🐔 “SAFETY FIRST!”

Ramón looked at her.

“We’re nowhere near water.”

🐔 “I LIKE THE JACKET!”

The cow stood nearby.

🐄 “Moo.”

Iris removed the first old spark plug.

Then the second.

She carefully installed the two new ones.

Tightened everything.

Checked her work.

And stood up.

“Okay.”

Everyone backed away.

Even the cow.

Iris climbed onto the vacuum.

Rick covered his hair.

Ramón raised his pencil.

Crazy Hen crouched behind a tree.

The cow continued chewing.

Iris grabbed the handle.

“Come on, old girl…”

She turned it on.

VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

😳

Everyone froze.

No crack.

No coughing.

No shaking.

Iris smiled.

“Ohhhhhh…”

Rick’s eyes widened.

🐷 “Uh-oh.”

Iris pushed the throttle.

🧹💨💨💨 ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

She disappeared.

“IRIS!!!”

She shot over the lake.

Around the cave.

Through a cloud.

Between two trees.

Over the mountain.

And straight back toward the Flying Crew.

Ramón’s pages started flying everywhere.

🐭📓💨 “MY NOTES!!!”

Crazy Hen began chasing them.

🐔 “I GOT PAGE SEVEN!!!”

The cow’s grass flew out of her mouth.

🐄😳

And Rick…

Poor Rick.

The blast of wind hit him directly in the face.

💨🐷💥

His beautiful hairstyle stood straight up.

Silence.

Rick slowly touched his head.

“…………Iris.”

Iris landed perfectly.

She looked at him.

Then at his hair.

Then she tried desperately not to laugh.

“Technically… you still have hair.”

🐷💥 “NOT AGAIN!!!”

Ramón finally recovered his notebook.

He adjusted his glasses and wrote:

🐭📓

Repair performed by Iris: approximately 10 minutes.

Cost: two spark plugs.

Proposed mechanic waiting time: two weeks.

Diagnosis confirmed: Coffee.

Crazy Hen raised her wing.

🐔 “IMPORTANT QUESTION!”

Everyone looked at her.

“What?”

She pointed at Iris’s pocket.

“YOU STILL HAVE THE HUNDRED DOLLARS!”

Everyone became silent.

Rick’s ears perked up.

🐷 “She’s right.”

Ramón closed his notebook.

🐭 “For once.”

The cow stepped forward.

🐄 “Moo.”

Iris smiled.

“So… what should we do with it?”

Rick immediately shouted:

“COOKIES!”

Crazy Hen:

“ICE CREAM!”

Ramón:

“Financially speaking, saving—”

“COOKIES AND ICE CREAM!”

Everyone shouted.

Ramón sighed.

“…motion approved.”

The Flying Crew climbed aboard the newly repaired vacuum.

Iris grabbed the handle.

Rick held onto his hair.

Ramón secured his notebook.

Crazy Hen tightened her completely unnecessary life jacket.

The cow brought her appetite.

And together—

🧹💨 ZOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

—they flew toward the biggest cookie-and-ice-cream shop in the forest.

And somewhere far away…

inside a quiet vacuum repair shop…

Saul the Owl sat comfortably behind his counter.

Still holding his coffee.

☕🦉

He looked at the empty parking spot where Iris’s vacuum had been.

Took another sip.

Sluuuuuuurp.

And whispered:

“Two weeks.”

🌟 Final Message 🌟

✨ Sometimes we ask someone else to solve a problem because we forget how much we’ve already learned.

Trust yourself enough to try. You might discover that the person you were waiting for… was you. ❤️🔧🧹
