The Adventure of the Lost Lantern 

On a silvery night, when the moon was yawning and the stars were playing hide-and-seek, Iris took off on her broom.

“Tonight smells like adventure,” she said, adjusting her hat.

 

Suddenly—flick!—the village lights began to blink.

The magic lantern that guarded everyone’s dreams was gone.

 

“Flying Crew, formation!” Iris called.

 

Rick, the most stylish pig in the sky, pulled out his little mirror.

“A serious mission requires a spotless snout,” he smiled.

 

Ramón, the brave little mouse, hopped forward.

“I’ll lead! I may have tiny eyes, but I’ve got a giant heart.”

 

They flew over rooftops and sleeping giggles until they heard a soft ting-ting.

The lantern was stuck in the branches of an old tree that was trembling with fear.

 

“Don’t cry,” Iris whispered. “Courage is a light too.”

 

Rick held the branch steady (without getting dirty), Ramón tied a clever knot, and together they freed the lantern. When it lit up, the village sighed… and dreams began to glow again.

 

“Mission accomplished,” said Iris.

“And not a single smudge,” added Rick.

“And we made a new friend!” cheered Ramón, waving to the tree.

 

From that night on, whenever a light flickers, everyone knows:

friendship always finds the way.
