The Heart of Iris

Some stories are born from imagination. Others are born from memories. But Iris was born from something even deeper. She was born from a dream, a smile, and the belief that a beautiful story can brighten a child's heart.

As I wrote these pages, I realized that Iris was never just a witty little witch. She became a symbol of friendship, kindness, hope, and joy. Little by little came Rick, the mischievous pig; Cow, whose gentle heart always sees the good in others; The Crazy Old Hen, as unpredictable as she is hilarious; and Ramón, the little mouse whose courage reminds us that greatness is never measured by size. Together they became a family that, through laughter and adventure, reminds us that the strongest friendships begin when we open our hearts.

As time passed, I came to understand that God inspires us in many different ways. Sometimes through silence. Sometimes through the people He places in our lives. And sometimes through a story capable of making a child smile. That is why every page was written with gratitude, hope, and the desire to plant a small seed of love in every family who opens this book.
